The definitive Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table Review

The definitive Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table ReviewWhen we were first presented with the Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table, we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Considering that more than 1000 people have reviewed it on Amazon — with an average rating of well above 4 stars out of 5 — we didn’t imagine any significant issues arising.

Let’s find out if we were right.

What is its Purpose?

Maybe you’ve had joint problems and back aches for a while. Maybe you’re sick and tired of shelling out an endless stream of cash for physio appointments that you’ve lost faith in. You want to try something new, something promising. If that’s the case, an inversion table might just be a great solution to your problems.

By relieving your spine of the pressure it’s usually accustomed to, an inversion table can allow the joints below the lever point to ease up and decompress. Basically, the body weight is evenly distributed while the user is suspended which, as it turns out, is actually very good for you.

Our Experience Using the Ironman 4000 Inversion Table

On removing the inversion table from the box, you may feel slightly intimidated by the fact that it arrives partially assembled. However, we found it to be extremely easy to put together and had it up and running in less than 30 minutes.

Other users have also pretty much unanimously praised the straightforward construction.

ironman inversion tableOn first inspection, all of our preconceptions about the table were confirmed; it is very well-built. The steel frame feels solid, and the back is extremely sturdy. You won’t need to worry about accidents or getting hurt, and you’ll soon be very confident about using the table even when unsupervised. It’s actually very comfortable; the molded ankle holders will securely hold your feet without the need for gravity boots (some people swear gravity boots are a must for the 4000, but we didn’t notice any problems without them).

It also happens to fold up, which is extremely convenient. When folded, it still requires a fair amount of space (it measures 26 x 65 x 49 inches when folded), but it’s still a lot more convenient than most inversion tables out there. Once you clear a space to store it when you’re not using it, you’ll hardly even notice it’s there.

The 350 pound maximum weight capacity is actually very impressive, too. Thanks again to the fantastic steel frame, you can still feel comfortable in the table even if your weight happens to be closer to that mark.

Downsides of the Ironman Gravity 4000 Table?

The only downsides we noticed with this table were that — thanks in part to its solid construction — it can be a little heavy to move when you’re storing it. Likewise, the manual could be considered a little brief for some users.

However, that’s probably down to the fact that you’ll not really need to refer to it if you have a rough idea of what you’re doing. In the worst case scenario, you can always find the information you need online, anyway.

You Should Also Know

If this is your first time using an inversion table, you may not know that it’s a very good idea to rest after a session. This involves sitting or lying in the correct position in order to avoid potential nerve injuries. This might sound scary, but it’s not — you can find all the info you need on Google. Make sure that you are not a candidate to suffer from certain contraindications.

This basically means any negative interactions that might be caused by using an inversion table if you have any pre-existing conditions. For example, if you’re using a blood thinning drug, or have heart or circulatory problems, it might not be a great idea to use an inversion table. Read this great article which will give you more info about contraindications.

All in all, we were extremely satisfied with the table. We used it for inverting, and highly recommend that you give it a try, too.

It won’t take long for you to feel the benefits of inverting, and there’s no better way to do it than with the best inversion product available on the market.

It’s amazingly well-built, caters fantastically to user needs and expectations, and all-in-all just feels like a solid investment that’s worth every penny.
